Personal Reaction to Dr. Mallove's Passing

I am still in shock about the news I heard early Sunday morning that Dr. Eugene Mallove had been killed on Friday, May 14th over an alleged property dispute. The details of the homicide are not yet available as a police investigation is underway. As many of you know, Gene was the Publisher and Editor-in–Chief of the magazine “Infinite Energy”, published in Concord, NH. He was an author and one of the strongest advocates of the reality of the “Cold Fusion” phenonoma. What you may not know is that Gene was a witness for the Disclosure Project, an advisor to SEAS, and a friend of both Dr. Greer and myself. I personally had spent many days over the last few months working with Gene in testing a number of “over unity” (OU) devices. He was extremely knowledgeable about a whole range of such devices and in our testing was a very careful scientist, continually asking questions and rechecking to make sure we were not being fooled by a measurement anomaly or some aspect we overlooked. He continued to be very optimistic about the potential of OU devices in spite of the fact that the 4-6 devices we tested over those few months were not OU regardless of the inventor’s claims to the contrary. He and I took a lot of abuse from several disgruntled inventors about our findings, but I never saw Gene waver. It was always fun to work with him, as we would play off each other as we checked and rechecked our data, both trying to outdo the other in figuring a better way to do our tests. Then there were our long lunches at the local Chinese buffet place in Concord where we both ate more then we needed and our conversations ranged from inventors we both knew (crazy and sane) to the meaning of the whole UFO phenonomen to what went wrong with physics. I will miss those conversations. Gene, your dedication to bringing out the knowledge that there is a better way to create energy and change our planet will be sorely missed by all of us touched by your personal infinite energy.
